Dr. Groff reserves about 30 percent of her patient times for patients that have lower income and otherwise very little access to mental health care. These patients include the musicians and artists of New York City, single parents, and non-profit humanitarian workers who are unable to afford care but contributing so much to this great city.
To offer the very best in psychiatric care, Dr. Groff's practice is out-of-network, direct pay only, eliminating the restrictions of insurance companies. Patients are encouraged to know their out-of-network benefits and to understand their deductibles before investing in treatment.
For patients that would like to participate with their insurance, the office can provide a list of recommended clinics that work with a variety of insurance companies or offer low-cost options if you unable to afford private psychiatric services. We try to accommodate and help as many people as we can!
